Taylor Swift: her unforgettable Music Awards 2015

Taylor Swift, a young songwriter and actress, has cleaned out the Billboard Music Awards 2015, winning seven awards: Top Artist, Top Female Artist, Top Billboard 200 Artist, Top Digital Songs Artist, Top Hot 100 Artist, Top Billboard 200 album and Top Hot 100 song thanks to her song “Shake It Off”. Entered the world of music producing country songs, there she is, today, advertising her new album “1989”, a pop music one. This is her fifth work and it has already sold more than 9.7 million copies worldwide. The superstar (7 Grammy winner) is inspired by Phil Collins, Annie Lennox and the era of “Like a Prayer” by Madonna for the creation of the new album, produced by the same Swift and Max Martin, with whom she had previously collaborated in 2012 with the single “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together”.

In the album: “Shake It Off” (https://youtu.be/nfWlot6h_JM), a single certified platinum in Italy with more than 7.6 million copies worldwide has debuted at the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100 with 544,000 copies sold becoming the best debut of 2014 and the fourth-best debut of all time. Taylor Swift is, in fact, one of the five artists who have sold more than ever in the digital world and she is the first artist, since the Beatles and the only female in music history, to have held the top spot on the charts for more than 6 consecutive weeks with three albums. And to make matters worse, the single “Shake It Off” at the top of the rankings was dethroned by another Swift’s single, “Blank Space” (https://youtu.be/e-ORhEE9VVg) and this has made the young Taylor the first female artist in the history of the USA chart to succeed herself first. Moreover, this song has remained at the top the Billboard Hot 100 for seven weeks becoming her song with more weeks at the top of the US charts. But today all eyes are on the “Bad Blood” video (https://youtu.be/QcIy9NiNbmo), starring many celebreties such as: Kendrick Lamar, Cindy Crawford, Jessica Alba, Lena Dunham, Cara Delevingne, Karlie Kloss, Selena Gomez, Gigi Hadid, Ellie Goulding, Hailee Steinfeld, Martha Hunt, Ellen Pompeo and Mariska Hargitay.

Unfortunately there aren’t any planned dates in Italy of the world tour started on May 5th in Tokyo and to be continued in many cities in North America and some European countries.

Good luck Taylor!
