Expo in Milan: stylists invite you to taste their cuisine

Expo is opening tomorrow and BookModa creates a list of the stylists’ restaurants around the city. An homage to Milan and to the fashion world, the soul of the city.


Café Trussardi – Right next to La Scala in Milan, the café of the fashion house is a popular meeting place located in an elegant cosmopolitan atmosphere. The iconic area of the restaurant is the outdoor area, opened in April 2008 and designed by Carlorattiassociati. From the roof of the terrace  hangs down a cascade of green designed by French landscape architect Patrick Blanc.


Ceresio 7 – Located on the top roof of the ENEL historic building, the designers Dean and Dan Caten, in collaboration with the architectural firm Storage and the Dimore Studio, have created a warm and elegant place to spend every moment of the day. The two pools, with a 360-degree panorama of Milan, are the perfect frame for the delicious dishes of the chef Elio Sironi to be enjoyed in the open air surrounded by greenery.


Martini Bistrot (and Bar Martini) is a collaboration between two great brands: Martini® and Dolce&Gabbana. Halls, decorated with burgundy damask panels and Baroque details, welcome the customer in a 50s style place that combines an exclusive atmosphere with dishes from the real Sicilian tradition. Not to be missed!


Clandestino, the restaurant of the Maison Moschino, offers a location conceived as the backstage of a tailor with hang clothes, paintings covered with white buttons and chairs covered with skirts and shirts. An experience!


Mimmo Milano, the restaurant on the first floor of the Dondup concept store, is a simple and delicate place with a warm homely feeling made by the creative director of the brand, Manuela Mariotti, that goes well with the cuisine of Mimmo Di Vivo where the ingredients of the Italian tradition reign supreme.


Just Cavalli Club – Located in the lungs of the city, the Parco Sempione, Roberto Cavalli club offers a magical outdoor area where you can spend a pleasant evening among fashion, food and design. The restaurant, designed by the designer together with Italo Rota, is a popular meeting place where you can admire the Torre Branca, designed by Gio Ponti in 1933, sitting comfortably among animal print fabrics, impeccable service and excellence label.


Café Marc Jacobs, set in a pretty square in the artistic Brera district, is characterized by shocking pink and electric blue shades. An ideal place to enjoy a drink at the bar or few dishes in the charming outdoor area between pouffe and other seats made by the designer.


Bvlgari restaurant is a luxurious and minimalist setting where to live a 360-degree experience. Among the aromas and the flavors of the chef Roberto Di Pinto, a wine list that includes more than 500 houses and liqueurs with labels for true connoisseurs, the place is an excellent location in the heart of Milan with large windows, black granite from Zimbabwe, fireplace, books, candles, antique silk Uzbek carpets and magnificent views over the garden.


The famous Armani/Nobu restaurant, by chef Nobu Matsuhisa, located in the Emporio Armani Store along the luxurious Via Manzoni, is attended by many VIP and it offers a sophisticated atmosphere and features a simple and elegant design, a perfect combination between Giorgio Armani style and the traditional Japanese design. A must!


In the new Gae Aulenti square, The Stage restaurant by Replay, made in collaboration with Roman and Williams Buildings and Interior, gives the customer a multisensory experience where you can taste the simple dishes of the chef Omar Students conceived as a mirror of Milan: a culinary melting pot to take inspiration from.
