Poncho: July must-have and star of the new Burberry adv

Above the coat, as a coat but not only. The poncho, keypiece of the Burberry Prorsum collection, becomes the star of July as well as one of the new icons of the fall/winter 2015 (on sale from July 1st, 2015). Together with the Bucket Bag, the Carryall Bag, the iconic trench made in England, the cashmere scarves Made in Scotland and the Burberry Tailoring, the poncho was chosen by Christopher Bailey to unveil the new advertising campaign F/W 2015 that is starring a young British cast in the new Burberry Family: Ella Richards (model), Holliday Grainger (actress), Clara Paget (model and actress), Florence Kosky (model), Tom Odell (musician), Harry Treadaway (actor), Jackson Hale (model), Oscar Tuttiett (model), Oliver Burslem (musician of YAK), Ranald Macdonald (musician of Hidden Charms) and Oscar Robertson (musician of Hidden Charms), all portraited by Mario Testino in St James in London. “In this campaign we have a new cast of young talent coming from music, fashion and film’s worlds. Seeing them together in the iconic setting of London has allowed us to celebrate the union of the great energy of the city and its wonderful tradition”, Christopher Bailey, Burberry Chief Creative & Chief Executive Officer.
