Salvatore Ferragamo opened a new pop-up shop in the heart of the Japanese capital, in Omotesando. The opening coincided with the launch, in Japan, of Vara and Varina MTO, worn by many of the 250 guests at the opening party. Some of the most famous and stylish women of the country, including Chay, Maki Tamaru, Kelly, Kouka, Iruka, Nina Ito, Rie Miyamoto, Miyamoto Ayana, Keiko Mayama and Rei Shito were photographed while wearing the two sophisticated model.
This project will continue in the main Japanese boutique and corner. What’s more, the women product director James Ferragamo and the Japanese actress Airi Tira, have created a special app for I-Pad, offering the opportunity for guests to choose their own Vara and/or Varina relying on their own tastes: bespoke, with materials and colors ranging from white to ruby red, from blue to black or between the new shades of pink, green, purple and black and white fabric.
