Produced by James Franco and directed by Christina Voros, the “The Director – Inside the House of Gucci” movie, traces the history of the Florence fashion house, exploring the working life of the creative director, Frida Giannini.
“James Franco and I were invited to an interview for a special service that would comes out on Harper’s Bazaar America, and when I asked him,” What is your next project? “, He replied,” Making a documentary about you”, said Frida Giannini.
In partnership with Universal Pictures Italy and Feltrinelli Real Cinema, The Space Movies presents a documentary film developed in three acts which covers 18 months behind the scenes of the fashion house, focusing on how Frida Giannini, 90 years after the foundation of the brand, takes inspiration from the world of cinema, art and music to reinterpret the historical icons of the house. The film is scheduled in Italian cinemas on 8, 9 and 10 September.
